We’re a small, young family-run business new to the Bay, with big dreams and even bigger hearts. Owned by a young Indigenous and Italian family, we’re proud to bring together rich traditions of hospitality, respect for the land, and a true love of sharing food.

Having both travelled the world, we aim to bring a unique twist to our dishes combining global inspiration with local, seasonal ingredients. What began as a shared passion for great food and genuine hospitality has grown into something truly special. we look forward to meeting you and welcoming you to the family.

 Here at the Hungry Pelican, we believe that food tastes better when it’s close to home. Our philosophy is simple: support local, cook seasonal & serve from the heart.

We work closely with local farmers, fishers and growers to bring the freshest ingredients straight to the plate. By sourcing locally, we honour the land, water and the people that nourish our community.
